The present invention relates to an insulator for a water meter and, more specifically, relates to an insulator for a water meter with an insulation improving function which has a heat reflection film capable of completely blocking an inflow of internal and external air on an outer surface of an insulator to prevent the water meter from freezing and bursting even in intense cold during the winter season. The insulator for the water meter with an insulation improving function comprises: a main body which forms a plurality of air layers of irregular sizes forming a sealing state to prevent a movement of gas such as hot air and cold air in an entire interior thereof by adding a foaming agent to polyethylene to increase a performance of insulation and elasticity, and forming a plurality of cutting units to adjust an exterior size to remove an empty space created by a standard different from a protective case for a water meter whose interior standard is not fixated; a heat reflection film formed on an outer surface of the main body to prevent an inflow of external air and an outflow of internal air; and an inspection checking window formed on a middle portion of the main body to check water usage when reading the water meter. |
