PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To properly recognize user operation even when a user is unaccustomed to the operation.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus includes: an identifying unit which starts measuring stationary time of a hand area when the hand area of a first specific shape corresponding to a specifying operation for specifying an area, is detected on an image captured by an imaging apparatus, and identifies a specified area specified by the specifying operation when the stationary time reaches a preset time; and a control unit which displays an image formed by executing predetermined image processing on the specified area, on a display device which is mounted in front of the head, when at least one of a hand area of a second specific shape and a specific motion of the hand area, which correspond to an instruction operation for instructing execution of predetermined image processing on the specified area on the image captured by the imaging apparatus, is detected after the specified area is identified by the identifying unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
