A connector with an aligning plate, includes plural male terminals, a connector housing that houses the male terminals therein and is formed so that a counterpart connector is inserted thereinto, an aligning plate that is provided so as to be movable in an insertion direction of the counterpart connector into the connector housing. The connector housing includes a pair of provisional locking arms which hold the aligning plate at a provisional locking position, and the aligning plate includes provisional locking portions which engage with the pair of provisional locking arms. The connector housing and the aligning plate are provided with plural recesses and plural projections which are mutually engageable and which restrict a warp of the aligning plate in the insertion direction.

1. A connector with an aligning plate, comprising:
plural male terminals configured to come into electrically contact with terminals of a counterpart connector; a connector housing that houses the male terminals therein and is formed so that the counterpart connector is inserted thereinto; and an aligning plate that is provided so as to be movable in an insertion direction of the counterpart connector into the connector housing and that positions tip portions of the male terminals in the connector housing, wherein the connector housing comprises a pair of provisional locking arms which hold the aligning plate at a provisional locking position, and the aligning plate comprises provisional locking portions which engage with the pair of provisional locking arms; and wherein the connector housing and the aligning plate are provided with plural recesses and plural projections which are mutually engageable and which restrict a warp of the aligning plate in the insertion direction.
