<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a capacity control valve of a variable displacement compressor which can suppress leakage of refrigerant gas from between a valve part and a valve seat even if a communication passage is formed in a rod and a valve element. <P>SOLUTION: In the capacity control valve 32 of the variable displacement compressor, an open passage is formed in the drive rod 31 and the valve element 30 to make the refrigerant gas flow therebetween. A valve element guide part 40 is disposed to an inner peripheral face of a valve chamber 36 to guide movement of the valve element 30 in a direction along the center axis L1 of the valve chamber 36. The valve part 30a of the valve element 30 is formed in a sphere along a spherical surface of a sphere K, whose center point N is at a position of an intermediate point R of the length of a valve element guide part 40 on the center axis L1 of the valve chamber 36 and along the center axis L1, and whose radius r is the distance from a contact position of the valve seat 36a with the valve part 30a in a valve close state up to the center point N. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
