摘要 <p>The present invention allows one to reconstruct high quality velocity waveforms using data collected at comparatively slow frame rates, such data would have otherwise resulted in non-diagnostic and non-clinically useful waveforms. The invention is directed to reconstructing a high quality "continuous" velocity waveform, and uses instantaneous measures of acceleration in addition to velocity to reconstruct such a waveform. By simultaneously detecting the velocity and acceleration of a fixed point in space, one can more faithfully reproduce the corresponding velocity waveform using significantly lower sample rates. If images are acquired, then the velocity sample rate corresponds to the image frame rate. Also, depending on the number of looks or scan lines contained in an ensemble, double interleaving of the raw data is used.</p>
