PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a user with a comfortable space by eliminating dispersion in temperature distribution in a space. SOLUTION: This air conditioner 1 for conditioning the air in an air-conditioned space Z1 by supplying the conditioned-wind form a supply opening 102a, comprises a first temperature detecting means T1, T1a, T3, a second temperature detecting means T2, T2a, T3, and a stirring operation control means 7a. The first temperature detecting means detects a first temperature of a first space near a ceiling in the space. The second temperature detecting means detects a second temperature of a second space near a floor in the space. The stirring operation control means performs a stirring operation for stirring the air in the air-conditioned space when temperature difference between the first temperature and the second temperature becomes more than a prescribed temperature.
