PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hyperbranched polymer-based pigment master batch having good strength and handleability, and hardly having environmental dependency. SOLUTION: The pigment master batch contains at least a pigment and a hyperbranched polymer. Preferably, the hyperbranched polymer has an ester bond at the core part and is modified with rosins in the pigment master batch. More preferably, the hyperbranched polymer has the ester bond at the core part, and is modified with abietic acid and/or hydrogenated abietic acid in the pigment master batch.
