<p>The bonnet has a mechanical reinforcing frame embedded in a plate. The plate is rigidified by an array of hollow bodies (2) and an array of ribs (3) that assure connection between the bodies. The frame is made of metal e.g. stainless steel, non-ferrous material, or a material chosen from glass fiber, carbon fiber and basalt fiber. Hollow bosses (4) are provided in zones of the plate to improve absorption of stress in case of a pedestrian impact. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a device for fabricating a vehicle bonnet by molding, comprising a molding part (2) a method for fabricating a vehicle bonnet by molding.</p> |
