A method for information display in instant messaging and a display device thereof. The problem is solved that in the prior art, the efficiency of instant messaging session is relatively low for the reason that instant messaging information of different contacts in instant messaging cannot be browsed at the same time. The method comprises: acquiring a plurality of instant messaging information sets (11); wherein a single instant messaging information set is a set of instant messaging information transmitted by an instant messaging group; and correspondingly displaying the plurality of acquired instant messaging information sets in a plurality of windows, respectively (12); wherein the plurality of windows are displayed in a plurality of display areas obtained by dividing an information display interface. |
