PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base station and a communication method that can make correlation between results of calculation of a power ratio and a spatial correlation value of a call of a side performing space division multiplexing and a call of a side where spatial division multiplexing is to be performed before and after space division multiplexing.SOLUTION: A control unit 130 allocates a first new call to a radio resource of a frequency channel with small interference wave power, and allocates new calls of second and after to the same frequency channel as the radio resource of the first new call or a vacant radio resource of an adjacent frequency channel if there is a vacant radio resource. If there is no vacant radio resource, the control unit 130 selects a pair of a call of a multiplexing side and a call of a to-be-multiplexed side which can be space division multiplexed, and further calculating multiplex priority to select a pair of a call of the multiplexing side and a call of the to-be-multiplexed side with high multiplex priority, generates a vacant radio resource by performing space division multiplexing, and allocates new calls of second and after to the generated radio resource. |
