摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress a reduction in display quality caused by application of a reset voltage to liquid crystal elements.SOLUTION: A display control circuit 10 controls a liquid crystal display device 1 that has a liquid crystal panel 100 including a plurality of pixels 110 individually having liquid crystal elements and drive circuits, a scan line drive circuit 130 and a data line drive circuit 140, for applying voltages to the liquid crystal elements corresponding to respective ones of the plurality of pixels 110. The display control circuit 10 comprises a control circuit 20 that, in a predetermined reset period, applies a first reset voltage for changing brightness of the pixels 110 in one-direction to the liquid crystal elements corresponding to the pixels 110 for at least a period until when the brightness corresponds to the first reset voltage, subsequently applies a second reset voltage for changing the brightness of the pixels 110 in an opposite direction in a remaining period and, subsequent to the reset period, controls the scan line drive circuit 130 and the data line drive circuit 140 so as to apply a voltage in response to a video signal specifying the brightness of each of the pixels 110 to the liquid crystal elements corresponding to the respective pixels 110.
