PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the revolution speed of a motor and stop it in a short time in the event of power supply stoppage.SOLUTION: A drive control device 1 for a brushless motor 20 includes: a motor drive unit including an inverter circuit 2 having upper-arm side switching elements Q1, Q3, Q5, which are connected between phases of armature coils Lu, Lv, Lw of the brushless motor 20 and one terminal of a DC power supply Vd, and lower-arm side switching elements Q2, Q4, Q6 connected between the phases of the armature coils and the other terminal; and a control circuit unit 5 including a motor brake unit 8 for outputting a short-circuit brake signal or a reverse brake signal to the motor drive unit. When the control circuit unit 5 detects that a power supply voltage is lower than a predetermined value, the motor brake unit 8 outputs the short-circuit brake signal and the reverse brake signal at least once for each over a predetermined period, and thereafter, outputs the short-circuit brake signal until stopping the output to the motor drive unit.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 10 |
