The purpose of the present invention is to provide a self-propelled electronic device capable of inhibiting damage to a front wheel when riding over steps. This self-propelled electronic device is characterized by being provided with: a housing which accommodates electronic device components, and which is provided with a base; a pair of left and right driving wheels which are provided protruding from the base so as to allow the housing to travel on a floor surface; a rear wheel provided to the base so as to support, in conjunction with the pair of driving wheels, the housing on the floor surface; and a front wheel provided to the base so as to assist the housing with riding over steps. The self-propelled electronic device is further characterized in that the base is provided with cushioning protrusions which are provided in the vicinity of the front of the front wheel, and which attenuate impacts exerted on the front wheel when riding over steps. |
