Provided is an illumination apparatus having an image projection function with which it is possible to more suitably move and adjust the position at which a video image is projected even after a device is installed. An illumination apparatus for emitting illumination light, the illumination apparatus being supported by a holding fixture for securing to a ceiling surface or wall, wherein the illumination apparatus is provided with: a light source disposed inside a housing, the light source generating illumination light; a diffusion plate fastened to a part of the housing, said plate diffusing illumination light from the light source; a projector disposed inside a space formed by the housing and a part of the diffusion plate, the projector projecting a video image on a projection surface; and a movement means for making all or a part of the projector movable in a direction parallel to the projection surface. |
