PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet aligning mechanism that can stabilize postures of sheets falling down toward a sheet accumulating part and align sheets accumulated in the sheet accumulating part with good accuracy.SOLUTION: A sheet aligning mechanism 1100 comprises a table 110, a right-alignment plate 140, a front-alignment plate 150 and a rear rail part 1810. The table 110 can accumulate sheets 8A. The right-alignment plate 140 and the front-alignment plate 150 can position the sheets 8A accumulated on the table 110 at predetermined positions. The rear rail part 1810 is provided at an upper side with respect to the table 110 and at a rear side with respect to the front-alignment plate 150. The rear rail part 1810 includes a first surface 1811A. The rear rail part 1810 is displaced between an initial position where a first surface 1811A extends horizontally and a specific position where the first surface 1811A inclines downward toward a front side, by a motor 182.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 17 |
