PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus, an image forming program, and an image forming method that can suppress an increase in a resistance value of a transfer member.SOLUTION: There is provided an image forming apparatus 1 comprising: a photoreceptor drum 8; a transfer member 12; a transfer circuit 24 that applies a bias to the transfer member 12; a conveyance roller 21 that conveys a sheet P to between the photoreceptor drum 8 and the transfer member 12p; a sheet sensor 23 that detects passage of the sheet P; and a control device 25 that controls the transfer circuit 24, wherein when the sheet sensor 23 does not detect the sheet P, a first bias having a relatively small absolute value is applied, and before the sheet P passes through between the photoreceptor drum 8 and the transfer member 12, a second bias having an absolute value larger than that of the first bias is applied. The timing the second bias is applied is a time point earlier than a time point at which the sheet P passes through between the photoreceptor drum 8 and the transfer member 12 by the time required for one rotation of the photoreceptor drum 8.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
