PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rice cooker with improved operability by preventing an operation unintended by a user.SOLUTION: The rice cooker comprises: heat retention control means for retaining the heat of cocked rice; and operation means 6 including a home key 21 as a first operation body to instruct a control of the heat retention means and an off-key 23 as a second operation body. The rice cocker is constituted in such a manner as to validate an operation to the operation means 6 by receiving an operation signal accompanying an operation to the off-key 23 after receiving an operation signal accompanying an operation to the home key 21. When a user successively operates the off-key 23 after operating the home key 21, the operation signal from the off-key 23 is received and then the operation to the operation means 6 is validated, which can prevent execution of an operation unintended by the user which might occur, for example, when closing a lid.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
