PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a workpiece conveying device that can be miniaturized easily.SOLUTION: In a workpiece conveying device 10, a pair of arms 40 for clamping and conveying a workpiece W is supported by a conveying line A. When the workpiece W is conveyed being clamped by clamping portions 44 of the arms 40, the conveying line A supports the weight of the workpiece W and the weight of the arms 40. This eliminates the necessity of bearing the weight of the workpiece W by the entire workpiece conveying device 10. Thus, a device body 20 of the workpiece conveying device 10 does not need to have a rigid structure that takes into account the weight of the workpiece W, and the entire workpiece conveying device 10 can be miniaturized easily. The workpiece conveying device 10 includes: the device body 20 movable horizontally along a laid plate 6 fixed to an operator side of a frame 2 of the conveying line A; the pair of arms 40 that can move into and out of the device body 20; and travel means 60 for moving the device body 20 horizontally along the laid plate 6 of the conveying line A.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
