PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support machine for standing-up and sitting-down, and walking in a standing position which causes a user to hardly falter.SOLUTION: A support machine 1 for standing-up and sitting-down, and walking in a standing position includes: a base 10 provided with wheels 15; a support ring 40 for surrounding the waist below the side of a user U and above the hipbone; an elbow placing member 60 attached to the support ring 40 for placing the elbow of the user U; a lifting device 20 for lifting the support ring 40 and the elbow placing member 60 with respect to the base 10 and executing main support for standing-up and sitting-down of the user U through the elbow placing member 60; an energizing member 30 for relieving a main load on the user U through the elbow placing member 60 by energizing the elbow placing member 60 upward in any lifting position 20; and an angular variation mechanism 21 for inclining the support ring 40 and the elbow placing member 60 forward at a descending limit position, and bringing them close to horizontal postures from the forward postures as they ascend.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
