PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a situation where a user is irradiated with light from an illumination device.SOLUTION: An illumination device comprises: a body part that is removably attached to an imaging device; a movable part that can be rotated with respect to the body part; a light emitting part that is provided in the movable part; driving means that rotates the movable part; a detection sensor for detecting an object within a detection range; and setting means that sets a limit angle limiting a rotation angle when the driving means rotates the movable part according to a result of detection from the detection sensor. The detection sensor is arranged on a surface of the body part on the opposite side of a surface on a subject side while the body part is attached to the imaging device.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
