The invention relates to a gas-liquid separator, a cooling device equipped therewith and a vapor circulating device capable of reducing space hindering performance, carrying out fine gas-liquid separating operation and seeking for miniaturization. The gas-liquid separator is characterized in that the upper portion of a liquid storage chamber is provided with a cylindrical gas-liquid separator of a separating chamber having equal diameter or less than diameter than that of the liquid storage chamber; a liquid conveying pipe is connected with a diameter-shrinking portion at the lower end of the liquid storage chamber; a discharge pipe is connected with a diameter-shrinking portion at the upper end of the separating chamber; furthermore, an inflow pipe of a two-phase flow of liquid and gas refrigerants is led in from the tangential direction of a rising wall of the separating chamber; a centrifugal force is utilized for separating the two-phase flow of the liquid and gas refrigerants. When average height of space formed by the upper end portion of the inflow pipe, the inner surface of the rising wall, the inner surface of a top wall which are disposed above the upper end portion of the inflow pipe is Hm and the internal diameter of the separating chamber is Di, Hm/Di is enabled to be less than or equal to 0.25 and the separating chamber is formed by stretching, forging or stamping operation so that the rising wall and the top wall of the separating chamber of are integrally or separately formed. |
