摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a proportional solenoid valve controlling method capable of using a proportional solenoid valve having such an appropriate valve size as one for flowing fluid between a first cylinder and a second cylinder under the same flow rate in both directions, making the first and second cylinders compact in size to enable device size to become small.SOLUTION: This invention relates to a method for controlling a proportional solenoid valve 1 having a valve part 2 and a solenoid part 3. The proportional solenoid valve 1 has a normal direction pressurizing flow rate characteristic in which an applied current value supplied to a coil 31 and a control flow rate at the time of normal direction pressurizing for pressurizing a first port 22 have a linear relation and an inverse direction pressurizing flow rate characteristic in which an applied current value supplied to the coil 31 and a control flow rate at the time of inverse direction pressurizing for pressurizing a second port 23 have a linear relation, the applied current values at the normal direction pressurizing and at the inverse direction pressurizing calculated by applying the same set flow rate to the normal direction pressurizing flow rate characteristic and the inverse direction pressurizing flow rate characteristic are changed in response to the pressurizing ports to supply the changed current to the coil 31.
