The image sensor (100) has pixel array (106), reference pixel (108) and diaphragm (110). The pixel array is made of infrared-sensitive sensor pixels (112) which are arranged in region of rear side (114) of transparent substrate (104). The infrared radiation (102) is made to pass on the sensor pixels. The reference pixel is arranged with lateral spacing with respect to the pixel array, to record the reference value for adjusting values of sensor pixels. The diaphragm is provided to cover the reference pixel, and is arranged at front side (118) of the substrate. An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing image sensor. |
