Axial and or radial bearing in fibre composite shell

A sleeve (2) between the bearing (1) and the thin-walled shell (3) transmits forces from the bearing to the shell. The shell is divided in the direction of its thickness near the bearing-container. Part of the shell is radially positioned in relation to the sleeve to absorb radial forces. The other part at least partly encloses the end surface of the sleeve for absorbing axial forces. A support ring (4) is positioned between the separated parts of the shell.
