A peak torque lowering composition,a part with sliding part using the composition,and a press−fitting method using the composition,the peak torque lowering composition,wherein anti−seizure agent comprising at least neutral phosphate and/or ester phosphite is contained by a specified amount in solvent comprising hydrocarbon and/or ether,the part with sliding part treated with the composition by immersing in the composition to adhere or adsorb the composition thereto,taking out immediately,and drying,whereby a part or a precision machine can be assembled in a simple structure by using the part,the press−fitting method comprising the steps of immersing a metal plate or a shaft in the peak torque lowering composition beforehand to adhere or adsorb the composition to the inner surface of a hole for press−fitting in the metal plate or the surface of the shaft and immediately taking out and drying the metal plate or the shaft,whereby burring can be prevented from occurring at the time of pressing of the shaft.
