A cooling arrangement in which the winding cylinder (2) has air- circulation vents (3) of chosen shape and size. The winding cylinder can selectively have spirally encircling directional fins, the latter being hollow and open on the inner side so that they can have air-circulation vents of selected size and shape on all sides.
