PURPOSE: A burglarproof device for a vehicle using a mobile communication terminal and a method thereof are provided to mount an RF module in the terminal and a burglary alarm device in a vehicle, thereby promptly responding to a state of the vehicle in real time. CONSTITUTION: A control unit inspects whether a burglary-sensing signal is received(301). If so, the control unit analyzes the burglary-sensing signal, and extracts an information data stream(303). The control unit decides whether an identification code of a burglary alarm device is identical with a pre-stored identification code(305). If so, the control unit performs a informing operation to notify a vehicle burglary(307).
