<p>There is provided a distortion compensation amplification device not updating to a distortion compensation table to an incorrect value even during burst signal transmission. When feedback signal data from an amplification unit (104) is supplied to a memory (105), a burst detection unit (106) calculates each carrier power according to feedback signal data accumulated in the memory (105), calculates a difference between the calculated value of each carrier power and a reference value of each carrier power so as to decide whether the difference between the calculated value and the reference value exceeds a predetermined threshold value. As a result, if the difference between the reference value and the calculated value is equal to or below the predetermined threshold value for all the carriers, the calculated carrier power is set as a new reference value. On the other hand, if the difference between the calculated value and the reference in at least one carrier exceeds the predetermined threshold value, the distortion compensation table (102) is not updated according to the current feedback signal data and feedback signal data is re-acquired without employing the currently acquired feedback signal data.</p> |
