PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system which prevents external leakage of information in an affiliated network from a terminal.

SOLUTION: A VPN server authenticator 202 transmits an authentication request to a VPN server 100 existing on a connected network through a communication part 205. When the VPN server authenticator 202 receives a response to the transmitted authentication request from an authentication response 101, it determines whether the VPN server 100 is a regular VPN server and the VPN server of the affiliated network. If the VPN server authenticator 202 determines that the VPN server 100 is a regular one and the VPN server of the affiliated network, all communications are permitted by a firewall function 204. If it determines that the VPN server 100 is not a regular one, all communications are prohibited by the firewall function 204.
