<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the accuracy of touch determination in a display device provided with a light input function. <P>SOLUTION: A pixel of the display device is provided with an optical sensor 36, a sensor capacity 37 holding a potential corresponding to the quantity of emitted light is arranged so as to be coupled with a finger of a user made proximate to a display part 2, and precharge voltage V<SB>prc</SB>of the sensor capacity 37 and reference voltage PVSS are vibrated in the same phase. Since a potential difference between the precharge voltage V<SB>prc</SB>and the reference voltage PVSS is different according to measuring timing when the finger touches the display part 2 in this way, the fluctuation of the potential difference can be detected to determine whether the finger touches the display part 2. Since a part touched by the finger is detected in a difference image of a picked-up image when the finger touches the display part 2, the coordinates of the touch part can be calculated by calculating the center of gravity of the touch part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
