The device (10) has a lever (12) pivotable around a rotational axis and a handle (14) provided for variation of a position of the lever and movable guided with respect to the lever. A detent unit (24) is movable with respect to the lever and provided for position fixing of the lever. Sections (26, 46) of the handle adjacent to the detent unit are arranged with a radial distance to the detent unit for preventing a transmission of torque components from the handle to the detent unit, where the torque components are not aligned parallel to the rotational axis.
