PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide artificial marble having excellent stain preventability obtained by exposing inorganic particles or organic particles to the surface, and in which the inorganic particles or organic particles of 65 to 95 pts.wt. are mixed to the main resin of 100 pts.wt. SOLUTION: Based on 100 pts.wt. of the main resin for artificial marble, inorganic particles or organic particles (preferably, particles with the average particle diameter of <3μm, more preferably, particles with the average particle diameter of≤2μm) made of silica, PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) or the like are added, the same is mixed and stirred, so as to be subjected to polymerization hardening, thus an artificial marble formed body having fine ruggedness by the precipitation of the inorganic particles or organic particles on the surface is obtained.
