PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve stopping shocks by which an upper body of an occupant is made slouchy at the moment of stop and swung back at the next moment when a vehicle such as an automobile stops by braking, without deteriorating safety in vehicle driving and applying a burden to a braking operation of a driver, in particular at the time of vehicle traveling in a jam, in which the shocks are generated frequently. SOLUTION: When a vehicle is stopped by braking during traveling in a jam, a ratio of a braking force to a treading degree of a braking pedal is temporarily reduced immediately before stopping.
