PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a stationary information code readout device which can read out an information code with the device placed on a mounting surface or held in a user's hand and facilitates readout operation by allowing a user to hold the information code over an upper face when the device is placed on the mounting surface or allowing the user to handle an operation section when the device is held by the user.SOLUTION: A readout device 1 has, in a case 3 thereof: an imaging section 23; an image formation section 27 which sets a visual range to allow the imaging section 23 to take an image and provides the image of an information code C on the imaging section 23 when the same is placed in the visual range outside the case 3; and a readout section which performs a readout process by analyzing the image of the information code C when the imaging section 23 takes the image of the information code C. An operation section 100 is installed on a lower surface section of the case 3 to allow a user to operate the readout device 1 from outside the case 3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 11 |
