PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a desired function for an image being browsed to be executed with a simple operation.SOLUTION: An image Im1 is displayed on a liquid crystal panel 7. The vicinity of the bottom-left corner and the vicinity of the top-right corner of the image Im1 are touched with a thumb F1 and an index finger F2. A pinch operation of the image Im1 is performed by moving the thumb F1 and the index finger F2 closer. The image Im1 is reduced with the pinch operation of the image Im1 and a reduced image Im2 is displayed. A trash box icon Tr is displayed in an area with no image on the liquid crystal panel 7 generated due to the reduction of the image Im1. The reduced image Im2 is moved closer to the trash box icon Tr by moving the thumb F1 and the index finger F2 while keeping the pinch operation. Then, the reduced image Im2 and the trash box icon Tr are removed from the liquid crystal panel 7 and processing for deleting the image data of the image Im1 corresponding to the reduced image Im2 is executed.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
