PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for expecting a normal sort result, when a printed matter by sort printing is discharged to each of paper discharge trays using a plurality of paper discharge trays.SOLUTION: A printer 100 restricts paper discharge to a paper discharge tray and reduces the number of paper, when the paper discharge tray in a fully stacked state has been detected, during execution of sort printing processing. The printer 100 correspondingly stores a page number and the paper discharge tray at the time of restricting paper discharge to the paper discharge tray in the fully stacked state. When the paper discharge tray in the fully stacked state does not become the fully stacked state, the printer 100 acquires image data subsequent to the stored page number, and discharges the paper to the paper discharge tray.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
