PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a container with a stretch label, whereby a stretch label is less likely to tear when the label is attached to a container, and the attached stretch label can be easily cut with hands.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a container with a stretch label comprises: a step of preparing a stretch label 1 on which a cut line 3 is partially formed from the vicinity of the upper end 1a thereof, and a container 5 having a large-diameter part 6 and a small-diameter part 7 formed on the upper side of the large-diameter part 6; a step of increasing the diameter of the lower area Y of the stretch label 1, including the lower end thereof, except for the circumferential area X of the stretch label 1 with the cut line 3 formed therein; a step of inserting the stretch label 1 with its lower area Y increased in diameter, into the target attachment part of the container 5 from the lower side of the stretch label 1, and relatively moving the stretch label 1 and container 5 until the upper end 1a of the stretch label 1 comes into contact with the small-diameter part 7 of the target attachment part of the container 5; and a step of attaching the stretch label 1 to the target attachment part by virtue of recovering force of the stretch label 1 while releasing the lower area Y from being increased in its diameter. |
