The present invention provides a high-intensity projector, which has: a first light source for outputting first light that includes first fluorescence generated by a first fluorescence region; a second light source for outputting second light that includes second fluorescence generated by a second fluorescence region; first through third image display elements; a light-separating optical system for generating illumination light for illuminating the first through third image display elements, each of which differs in color from the inputted first light and second light, and irradiating the first through third image display elements with the illumination light; and a control device for causing the first through third image display elements to display images according to an inputted video signal and the color of the illumination light irradiated onto the first through third image display elements. |
