Disclosed are a method and apparatus for making a hotspot of a terminal sleep. The apparatus comprises a time presetting module, a hotspot sleeping module, and a hotspot disabling module. The hotspot enabled time of a terminal is preset by means of the time presetting module; and after the hotspot enabled time of the terminal reaches a preset time, the hotspot sleeping module makes the terminal enter into a hotspot sleeping state if it is determined that the hotspot of the terminal is not used; and when the terminal enters into the hotspot sleeping state, the hotspot disabling module automatically disenables the hotspot and uninstalls a hotspot driver. |
