PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving unit which achieves improvement of lubrication performance of a bearing.SOLUTION: A driving unit comprises: a rotor rotatably supported through a bearing; a stator which is provided at an outer periphery of the rotor through an air gap; a motor housing for housing the rotor and the stator; and an oil which lubricates an interior part of the motor housing. When a vehicle is in a horizontal state, an oil surface of the oil is located at a position lower than a position of the air gap. When the vehicle is in an inclined state where a front side of the vehicle is placed higher than a rear side of the vehicle, the oil surface is located at a position higher than the position of the air gap.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3 |
