PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel bearing sealing device that sets optimum specifications based on the tensile force of a radial lip in a pack seal and improves sealing performance in a low temperature environment and a muddy water environment.SOLUTION: A wheel bearing sealing device includes a seal plate 12 comprising a seal member 15 joined to a core metal 14 by vulcanization bonding, and a slinger 13 including a cylindrical part 13a and a rising plate part 13b extending radially outward. The seal member 15 includes a side lip 15b that extends inclining radially outward and comes in sliding contact with the rising plate part 13b through an axial interference, and a radial lip formed in bifurcated shape on the inner diameter side of the side lip 15b and comprising a grease lip 15c and a dust lip 15d that come in sliding contact with the cylindrical part 13a through a radial interference. A garter spring 17 is mounted to the dust lip 15d, and the tensile force is set to be at least 50% of the whole tensile force, while the tensile force in a state without a garter spring 17 is set to be at least 3N. |
