GLIAL CELL LINE-DERIVED NEUROTROPHIC FACTOR RECEPTOR & ITS NUCLEIC ACID AND AMINO ACID SEQUENCES

PURPOSE: A receptor for Glial cell line-Derived Neurotrophic Factor(GDNFR) and nucleic acid and amino acid sequences for GDNFR protein products are described. Also provided is treating method for GDNF-response syndrome. CONSTITUTION: The GDNFR protein products are produced by recombination of genetic engineering. The process comprises the steps of: Culturing of host cell which comprises GDNFR; Preserving the host cell at proper condition; Separating GDNFR protein products selectively from the host cell. In case of GDNF-related syndrome, a treating method increases sensitivity to GDNF or intercepts GDNF- activity.
