PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve such a problem that an error rate is increased with the enlargement of the succeeding recoding mark or the deviation of the center position to the front side for time-wise continuously formed recording marks adjacent to each other by the generation of the thermal interference due to the remaining heat in the formation process of the preceding recording mark affecting the formation process of the succeeding recording mark. SOLUTION: The problem is solved in such a manner that the inequality of (1/21)Pw<Pb<(1/14)Pw is satisfied when a laser power (recording power) at the time of forming the recording mark is taken as Pw and a laser power (bias power) at the time of forming the space is taken as Pb, and further, when a laser power (reproduction power) at the time of reproducing the recording information is taken as Pr, the inequality of (1/21)Pw<Pr<(1/7)Pw is satisfied. |
