On a print substrate, after a first print image (3) is formed with a gold ink, a second print image (5) is printed with a color ink in such a manner that a first parallel line tint (4A) in the image (3) is overlapped with a second parallel line tint (6A) of an extremely small character group printed with a color ink in the second print image (5). The first print image (3) consists of a first background image (4) composed of the first parallel line tint (4A) and the second parallel line tint (4B) and a first latent image (3A) (character I ) while the second print image (5) consists of a second background image (6) composed of the second parallel line tint (6A) and a second latent image (5A) (character O ) where the second background image (6) is printed by reverse printing. The first latent image (3A) is visible when illuminated with a scattered light while the second latent image (5A) is visible when illuminated a regular reflection light. Thus, it is possible to determine whether true or false, thereby improving the forgery prevention effect.
