<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a body composition analyzer having high usability and designed inconsideration of the effect of the transfer of extracellular fluid. <P>SOLUTION: This body composition analyzer is provided with a plurality of electrodes 11-18 making contact with the body of a subject corresponding to a plurality of predetermined sites, an impedance measuring part 101 for measuring the impedances of the sites of the subject using the plurality of electrodes, a time counting part 34 for counting impedance measuring time by the impedance measuring part 101, an impedance correcting part 102 correcting the impedances of the sites measured by the impedance measuring part 101 using the counted times counted by the time counting part 34 and a correction function associating the time with the impedance correction amount, and a body composition calculating part 103 for calculating the body compositions of the sites based on the impedances of the sites after the correction by the impedance collecting part 102 and body specific information of the subject. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI |
