<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing apparatus capable of facilitating management of an execution timing applied to expansion processing in animation reproduction control for mixing IP compressed animation data and IPB compressed animation data so as to use the intermingled data for directing. <P>SOLUTION: In the case of reproducing and displaying a movie image on the basis of IPB movie data as shown in Fig. 15(A), a CPU applies expansion instruction to a GCL twice for frame periods before a frame period (F3) wherein the GCL first expands B pictures. The GCL carries out display processing and expansion processing or like processing for each of frame periods (F1 to F11) in response to an image drawing instruction. When a twelfth frame period (F12) is started, the CPU selects display control data of IP movie data to execute display and expansion instructions or the like. The GCL displays a picture B5 of IPB movie data for the first frame period (F1) as to the IP movie data and displays a first picture I1 of the IP movie data for the next frame period (F2). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
