<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an expanded molding having not only excellent lightweight and sound absorbing properties but also excellent surface properties and mechanical strength, a web suitable for producing the expanded molding and a stampable sheet and to provide a method for producing them. <P>SOLUTION: In the method for producing an expanded molding of a stampable sheet, by which a reinforced fiber, a thermoplastic resin and thermally expandable particles are uniformly dispersed into a surfactant-containing aqueous medium with minute foams to give a foamy solution, the foamy solution is made into a sheet to give a web, then the web is heated, pressurized and cooled to give a stampable sheet, the stampable sheet is heated, the thermally expandable particles are expanded, molded and cooled, in the sheet making, the thermally expandable particles are unevenly distributed to any one side of the web by defoaming by air suction to give the expanded molding of stampable sheet in which the thermally expandable particles are unevenly distributed to any one side of the expanded molding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
