<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a distance image accurately, even when a distance from a stereoscopic imaging device to a subject is long, when generating the distance image by stereo matching. <P>SOLUTION: The first distance image generation part 30 generates a distance image D1 from data for the distance image acquired by an imaging part 2A. A baseline length changing means 38 calculates a subject distance which is a distance to the subject based on the first distance image, and changes it so that the baseline length which is a distance between imaging parts 2B, 2C is longer as the subject distance is longer. After change of the baseline length, a stereo matching part 31 detects the corresponding point from a standard image and a reference image acquired by the imaging parts 2B, 2C, and the second distance image generation part 32 generates a distance image D2. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT</p> |
