A non-welding type battery pack with forced-fitting type of rivet is provided to eliminate welding or soldering process, to embody self-assembly of the pack and to improve structural stability thereof by fabricating a battery case, a base plate at the case, PCM(protective circuit module) arranged on the base plate, and an insulation top cap coupled to top of the battery case. A battery pack includes: a base plate arranged on an open top of a battery case; PCM arranged on the base plate; and top cap made of electric insulation material, which is coupled to the top of the battery case while enclosing PCM. Each of PCM and the base plate has two perforated holes communicating with anode and cathode of the battery. PCM is positioned on the base plate and mechanically connected to the base plate by coupling three rivets through the perforated holes(114,124,126). First rivet(140) is fitted into the perforated hole(Pa) of PCM and the perforated hole(Ba) of the base plate. Third rivet(160) is fitted into second rivet(150) through the perforated hole(Pb) of PCM.
