PURPOSE: An air floating type transfer table apparatus is provided to prevent collision with a moving roller by preventing the slacking of both ends of a steel plate. CONSTITUTION: Air holes(12) are formed on the floor of a transfer bed(10) on which a steel material(1) is transferred. An air supplying member connected to the air hole supplies the air to the floor side of the transfer bed. A transferring roller(17) is installed on the floor side of the transfer bed. The transferring roller is contacted with the steel material. A diverging supply pipe(13) is each of the air hole and supplies the air to a basin supply tube. A control valve(15) controls the air amount to be supplied to the air hole. A main supply pipe(14) supplies the air to each basin supply tube from the source of air supply.
